For over 20 years, Yvonne has helped people find the next role and also helped companies attract top talent to their organisations on a global basis.
She didn’t set out to do this; in fact, when Yvonne was much younger, she wanted to be a Nurse or an Accountant. Hailing from Ireland, and with a fondness for meeting new people and finding out what makes them tick, instead led her to the Recruitment Industry.
And she’s remained passionate about it ever since.
Over the last few years, Yvonne has noticed the rise of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning algorithms in hiring methodology have counterintuitively made it harder than ever before for people to find their dream job. So she founded a business to address this - Glow Up Careers – an ever-expanding coaching community connected with online content delivered via video-conference to anyone chasing that dream. Glow Up exists to help everyone have their best career; to help everyone Glow Beyond Their Limits.
Her passion for inclusivity is driven both by her Irish roots of family, and her global citizen experience working throughout her career. This diversity of people, cultures, opinions and beliefs is at the core of what makes Yvonne tick, and she is an advocate for corporations expanding their diversity hiring strategies.
When not helping people follow their dreams, find their strengths and uncover their passions, Yvonne spends time with family and friends, and is commonly called upon to organise gatherings…so BridgingCareers came naturally to her!
